Walton EMC
Located at 3645 Lenora Church Road, Snellville 30278, services the northern section of Rockdale County. For new service and emergencies, call 770-972-2917. Office hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A $5.00 membership fee and a $20.00 account establishment fee is required for all customers. A deposit may be required for those renting.

Snapping Shoals EMC
Located at 14750 Brown Bridge Road in Covington 30016. For new service and emergencies, call 770-786-3484. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a .m. – 5 p.m. No deposit is required unless previous bad credit. A $40 account establishment fee is required for all customers and a $10 membership fee is required for new customers.

Due to natural gas deregulation in Georgia, consumers can buy natural gas from a variety of marketers. Choose a marketer that best fits your needs and remember these tips:

• Read all of the materials provided by the marketer
• Ask questions about services the marketer provides
• Ask about pricing options

You can sign up with a gas marketer by telephone, through the mail or, perhaps, on the internet. You may switch gas marketers once a year at no cost. However, if you change more often, the marketer my charge up to $7.50 per change.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. A service establishment fee of $25.00 (if meter is present) or $50.00 (if meter is not present) is place on the first month’s bill. For questions concerning billing, or after hours emergencies, call 770-994-1946.
